The Bachelor Season 28s Unprecedented Finale Twist Revealed (SPOILERS)

The Bachelor season 28 finale is expected to have an unprecedented ending. Now all the details about that major twist have been revealed.

WARNING! This article contains spoilers for The Bachelor season 28 finale!

Summary

  • Reality Steve was wrong about Joey Graziadei's engagement in The Bachelor season 28; he actually got engaged to Kelsey Anderson, not Daisy Kent.
  • Daisy was allowed to visit Kelsey's room to inform her that Joey was going to choose her, a first on The Bachelor.
  • Daisy broke up with Joey before he could end things with her, another unprecedented event in Bachelor Nation history.

The Bachelor season 28 has teased an unprecedented finale for leading man Joey Graziadei, and now Reality Steve has all of the details about what makes the end of Joey's journey so unique. Joey has now narrowed down his original group of 32 Bachelor season 28 women to just four: Kelsey Anderson, Daisy Kent, Rachel Nance, and Maria Georgas. All four of these women will bring Joey home to meet their families.

According to Reality Steve, his November spoiler for The Bachelor season 28 was wrong, and Joey didn't propose to Daisy.

At the beginning of The Bachelor season 28, Reality Steve posted spoilers for the season, but now he's adding one and making a major change to another. According to Reality Steve, his November spoiler for The Bachelor season 28 was wrong, and Joey didn't propose to Daisy. Joey actually got engaged to Kelsey A. What makes the ending unprecedented is that Daisy was allowed to visit Kelsey A.'s room to tell her something like, "It’s not me, it’s you, and I’m gonna tell him that tomorrow."

Usually, once the final two women have been chosen, they don't see or speak to each other until filming wraps. In addition, Daisy broke up with Joey before he could end things with her. The runner-up has never broken up with the lead in this way before. Reality Steve added that the breakup conversation was "positive."

Reality Steve Admits He Was Wrong About Bachelor Finale Spoiler

"Joey is engaged to Kelsey A. and has been since filming ended."

Reality Steve also admitted that his November spoiler about Daisy getting engaged to Joey during The Bachelor season 28 finale was incorrect. He wrote, "No beating around the bush here. The spoiler is wrong." He added, "Joey is engaged to Kelsey A. and has been since filming ended." Reality Steve explained that he's been so adamant all season that Daisy won because "I believe in my sources." He said that he can't explain why he believed the spoiler to be true because he'd compromise his source. Reality Steve shared that it's been eight seasons since he's had the wrong spoiler.

It's very interesting to hear that Reality Steve's original spoiler was wrong. For those who've watched The Bachelor season 28 knowing the original incorrect spoiler that Daisy and Joey were engaged, it was a bit difficult to understand how it might've happened. Daisy is a wonderful woman, but she's repeatedly said that she hasn't fallen in love with Joey yet. Although Daisy said that she might be starting to fall for Joey during episode 7, the preview for episode 8 shows him telling her mother that she hasn't been able to express that she loves him yet.

On the other hand, Kelsey A.'s feelings for Joey have grown consistently throughout the season. It's easy to imagine that those feelings will continue to grow into being in love with him. In addition, because Kelsey A. isn't holding anything back, Joey will feel secure enough to allow himself to fall for her as well. It was noble of Daisy to not only let Kelsey A. know that she was leaving but also to end things with Joey before he had to break up with her. Hopefully, Joey and Kelsey's engagement will lead to a long and happy marriage.

The Bachelor season 28 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
